8 Months Old

Wow I cant believe sweet Harper girl is 8 Months Old!

I feel like time is flying by and I want to hit the imaginary slow down button but I cant find it.
Our girl is such a blessing and a complete treat to enjoy!
This picture wasn't easy to get because she was rolling all over, moving and trying to sit up! Her hair is getting so long in the front I have to put it up or it hangs in her eyes and mom and dad don't like that!

Weight: 19 pounds

Diaper Size: 4

Clothing Size: 9-12 months

Eating: Harper girl loves mealtime! She gets so excited when she sees anyone bringing her bottle or her food to the table. She loves her cereal in the morning, veggies at afternoon and then another serving at night. I tried making homemade baby food for Harper and she loved it but for me the time versus buying organic, I have decided to buy organic. I love Ella's kitchen and Earth's Best and Plum. They have great flavors and Harper loves the squeezable ability.

Sleeping: Harper has done a great job with sleep training and we have seen the rewards of sticking to the training and the program. When we do something different it takes her a day or two to get into the swing of things again. She takes a morning nap that last anywhere from 1 hour to 2. An afternoon nap that is usually later from 3-5. Harper heads to bed between 8:30-9 each night. Through sleep training she has found her routine at night in her crib. She snuggles around her rabbit and watches the light show on the ceiling and is usually asleep 5 minutes after she goes into her crib.

Achievements:
-Crawling-BACKWARDS she has mastered this for sure but going forward is still challenging her.

-She likes to stand up by herself  against the couch I like to stand behind her though just in case she decides to let go.

-Drinks out of her sippy cup

-Gives high 5's

-When she wakes up she pats you on the back when you pick her up from the crib.

-Loves being outside either at the pool or for a walk.

-Gets so excited when her daddy walks in the door and starts boucning up and down

-Gives kisses

-Growls

-She is on the verge on words we are pretty sure she is saying DADDA but she doesn't know who that means

  • Harper fills our days with joy, laughter, sweet smells, stinky smells, bottle cleaning, toys on the floor, smiles, We are a small little family and love every inch of it!
